(AISI316and318LNequivalent).TheS-BTthreadedstudsarefastenerswithmale
threads(metricM8andM10orinchW10)forattachmentononeendanda
threadedtipontheotherendforembedmentintothestructuralsteeloraluminum.
CarbonsteelstudsaresuppliedwithanaluminumsealingwasherØ10mm,
stainlesssteelstudsaresuppliedwithastainless-steelsealingwasherØ12mm,
bothwithachloroprenerubbersealingring.
TheS-BTtechnologycanbeusedasanalternativetotheweldsandboltsusedto
attachmaterialstostructuralsteelandforfasteningapplicationsinshipbuilding
environmentandoffshorestructures.
TheS-BTfastenerwillbescrewedinintoapre-drilledhole.Thescrewistappingits
owninternalmatingthreadswheninstalledintobasematerial.Aspecialstepped
