coating.TheuseofthiscoatingislimitedtothecorrosioncategoryC1according
thestandardENISO9223.Forhighercorrosioncategoriesduplexcoatedgrating
fastenersorstainlesssteelgratingfastenersshouldbeused.
X-FCM-MandX-FCM-MNGgratingfastenersmadeofduplex-coated
carbon steel
ThecoatingoftheX-FCM-MandX-FCM-MNGcarbonsteelgratingfasteners
consists of an electroplated Zn-alloy for cathodic protection and a top coat for
chemicalresistance(duplex-coating).Theintendeduseofthiscoatingislimited
tothecorrosioncategoryC1,C2andC3accordingthestandardENISO9223
(indoors,mildlycorrosiveenvironment).Thecarbonsteelgratingfastenersaretobe
usedforfasteninggratingsmadeofcoatedorgalvanizedcarbonsteelorgratings
madeofreinforcedbreglass.
Note: Thefastenersarenotforuseinmarineatmosphereorinheavilypollutes
environment.
X-FCM-R and X-FCM-R NG grating fasteners made of stainless steel
TheX-FCM-RandX-FCM-RNGstainlesssteelgratingfastenersaremadefrom
thestainless-steeltype1.4404,whichisequivalenttoAISI316L(A4)steel
grade.Thisgradeofstainlesssteelisclassiedinthecorrosionresistanceclass
IIIaccordingtoDINEN1993-1-4:2015,whichmakesthematerialsuitablefor
aggressiveenvironmentslikeinmarine,offshore,petrochemical,caloric(coal,oil)
powerplants,etc.applications.
Thestainless-steelgratingfastenersaretobeusedforfasteninggratingsmade
ofstainlesssteelorgratingsmadeofreinforcedbreglass.
