Frost control
“FrostControl” is a safety or drain valve that
does not operate on electricity. If there is danger
of frost, it automatically empties the contents of
the boiler using a draining stanchion.
If there is excess pressure in the system, the
pressure is automatically equalised intermittently
by means of the safety valve.
k) switch set to “Operation”
m)button set to “Closed”
n) button set to “Empty”
o) draining stanchion (conducted outside
through the oor of the vehicle)
Only when the temperature reaches
approx. 7° C or more at the drain
valve is it possible to close it manu-
ally using the button (setting m) and
then ll the boiler.
When the temperature is under
approx. 3° C at the drain valve, it will
open automatically, the button pops
out (setting n) and the water in the
boiler drains off through the draining
stanchion (o).
Operating in summer
Turn the switch on the operating device to
40° C or 60° C (setting c, operating in sum
-
mer). The green (b) and yellow (g) LEDs shine.
After the set temperature for the water (40°C
or 60° C) has been reached, the burner will
turn itself off and the yellow LED (g) will go off.
Operating in winter
Heating with controlled water temperature:
Turn the switch to operative setting (e). Turn
the knob (a) to the desired setting for the
thermostat (1-5). The green LED (b) for opera-
tion will shine; at the same time, it shows the
setting for the room temperature you have se-
lected. The yellow LED (g) shows the warm-up
phase for the water. The device automatically
selects the required power setting.
After the room temperature set on the ope-
rating device has been reached, the burner
changes to the lowest setting and heats the
water in the boiler to 60° C. The yellow LED
(g) turns off when the water has reached this
temperature.
