Assembly — Attaching the Fan Blades

Fastening the blade

assemblies to the motor

WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not

bend the blade arms (I) while installing, balancing the blades

(H), or cleaning the fan. Do no insert foreign objects between

rotating fan blades (H).

□ Fasten the blade assemblies to the fan motor

assembly (G) by lining up the slots of the motor (WW)

with the tabs (XX) on the blade arms (I).

□ Tighten the two blade arm screws with lock washers

(II) already installed in the blade arms (I).

□ Repeat this procedure for the remaining blade arms

(I).

Removing the motor

support plate

□ The fan motor assembly (G) is shipped with motor

support plate (VV) to prevent movement during

transportation. Remove the motor support plate (VV)

from the fan motor assembly (G) and discard prior to

attaching the blade arms.
