Assembly 1 2 Preparing the base panel Assembling the base Put the Back Base Panel (C) on a flat surface. Insert the Bolts (OO) through the 2 Hole Plastic Connector Block (NN). Put the Left Base Panel (A), Right Base Panel (B), Back Base Panel (C) and Front Base Panel (D) on a flat surface. Screw the Front Base Panel (D) and the Left Base Panel (A) with the Washer (RR) and the Screw (QQ). Insert the Small Screw (OO) through the 2 Hole Plastic Connector Block (NN) to the Left Base Panel (A).
Assembly (continued) 4 Attaching the decorative front panels H Insert the Wood Dowels (KK) into the pre-drilled holes in the Left Center Panel (H). Push the Decorative Left Front Panel (E) and the Left Center Panel (H) together. Insert the Camlocks (LL) into the pre-drilled holes, and turn clockwise to secure. Align the Left Base Panel (A) and the Right Base Panel (B) with Left Side Panel (J) and the Left Center Panel (H). Push together. Push together the Upper Front Panel (L) with the Left Center Panel (H). Repeat to attach the Right Side Panels.

Using the Phillips Screwdriver, insert the Camlock Bolts (BB) into the pre-drilled holes. Insert the Wood Dowels (KK) into the pre-drilled holes located on the top of the Panels (H,I,J,K,L). Secure the Divider (N) to the Center Shelf (M) with the Long Screw (GG). Insert the Camlock Bolts (BB) into the pre-drilled holes, using the Phillips Screwdriver, into the Center Shelf (M). Insert the Wood Dowels (KK) into the pre-drilled holes in the Center Shelf (M).

Insert the Wood Dowels (KK) into the pre-drilled holes in the Divider (N) and the Decorative Side Panels (O). P JJ Q Q 19 Preparing the doors Put the Right Door (S) on a flat surface. Insert the Machine Screws (AA) through the Euro Hinges (FF) to connect to the Right Door (S). Apply the Door Bumper (II) onto the opposite corners of the Right Door (S). Repeat for the Left Door (R).
Assembly (continued) 20 Attaching the handles 21 Attaching the doors Insert the screws through the pre-drilled holes in the Right Door (S), to attach the Handle (DD). Repeat for the Left Door (R). Locate the Right Door (S) and align the Euro Hinge (FF) with the Hinge Bracket (MM). Tighten the pre-assembly screws on Hinge Bracket (MM) to secure each door in place. Repeat to attach the Left Door (R).
Assembly (continued) Preparing the securing block the fireplace insert into 23 Installing 24 the mantel assembly Lift the Fireplace Insert (W) carefully into the back of the unit and center in the fireplace insert opening. Do not drag the fireplace insert across the Base as it may scratch your unit. Put the Small Securing Block (U) on a flat surface. Insert the Small Screws (OO) through the Angle Bracket (SS) to the Securing Block (U).
Assembly (continued) 26 Preparing the insert securing block 27 Attaching the insert securing block Insert the Small Screws (OO) through the 2 Hole Plastic Connector Blocks (NN) to the pre-drilled holes in the Left Center Panel (H) and the Right Center panel (I). Slide the Insert Securing Block (V) in the space between the 2 Hole Plastic Connector Blocks (NN) and the Small Insert Securing Block (U).
Assembly (continued) 29 Installing the tipping restraint hardware When the Tipping Restraint Hardware (PP) is properly installed, it can provide protection against unexpected tipping of the Unit due to small tremors, bumps or climbing. Your Unit comes with two Tipping Restraint Hardware (PP). Each Tipping Restraint Hardware (PP) includes one Unit Anchor, one Wall Anchor, one Anchor Tether, and four Anchor Screws. Use these to complete the following steps for a proper installation.

Operation (continued) 5 Replacing the remote control battery 6 Disposing of used batteries The battery may contain hazardous substances that could endanger the enviroment and human health. When the remote control stops operating or its range seems reduced, it is time to replace the battery with new ones. On the back end of the remote, press and slide the battery door open and remove the old battery. Insert 2 AAA batteries, checking that the + and sides of the battery match inside the battery compartment.

Troubleshooting (continued) PROBLEM Flame effect works but heater function does not and the emberbed flashes when the Heater button is pressed. ROOT CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION The heater is disabled. With the power on press and hold the POWER button on the control panel for 10 seconds. Once re-enabled the emberbed lights will flash multiple times. There are no batteries. Change the remote batteries. The signal is poor. Operate remote transmitter at a slow measured pace.
