Operation (Charging)
There are two input jacks on the end cap of the motorization module.
One is a connection for the adaptor. The second connects the optional
solar panel to the module.
NOTE: The power cord for the adaptor is 6 ft. in length. It
may be necessary to use an extension cord to reach the
nearest electrical outlet. See the Extension Cord section
and the Safety Rules for Adaptor section of this manual
for further instruction.
To connect the adaptor to the motorization module:
□ Open the adaptor tab ( ) on the end cap of the module.
□ Insert the adaptor plug into the adaptor input jack.
□ Adaptor can be used with normal household current of 120 V, AC
only, 60 Hz.
□ Connect the adaptor to a power supply.
□ It may take up to 6 hours of charging time to fully charge the
motorization module.
□ The endcap button flashes RED while it is charging. When
charging is complete, the button LEDs turn off.
□ When fully charged, disconnect the extension cord (if used) from
the power outlet, and disconnect the adaptor from the extension
cord and the motorization module.
To connect the optional solar panel to the motorization module:
□ For windows with good sun exposure, the optional solar panel can
be used to supplement the need or frequency for AC charging. See
the manual for the optional solar panel for more information.
