Making the electrical connections

Attaching the canopy

□ While holding the canopy (A) toward the ceiling, connect

the white wire from the fixture to the white wire from the

outlet box, and the black wire from the fixture to the black

wire from the outlet box. Cover the two wire connections

using the two provided wire connectors (AA). Wrap the two

wire connections with electrical tape for a more secure

connection. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or

bare copper), connect fixture’s bare copper ground wire to

it using the wire connector (AA). Otherwise connect the

bare copper ground wire from the fixture to ground screw

(BB) on the circular strap.

□ Mount the canopy (A) on the ceiling by aligning the

protruding mounting screws (FF) all the way through the

holes on the canopy (A). Be careful not to pinch any of the

wires between the fixture and outlet box. Tighten the

canopy (A) to ceiling by screwing the two knurled knobs

(CC) onto the two protruding mounting screws (FF).
