Operation
Install the motion sensor 6.5 ft. above the ground. The detection distance
up to 30 ft. and the detection range can reach the coverage of 220 degrees
(approx.) Locate the sensor away from heat-producing sources to prevent
false triggering. Locate the sensor away from moving objects such as trees,
large shrubs, and street traffic. Do not install more than one motion
activated floodlight on one wall switch.
ADJUSTING THE TIMER
□ During Auto Mode, the light will stay ON as long
as motion is detected. When no movement is
detected, the light will turn OFF after the delay time
has elapsed. The time is 10 seconds at the
minimum. By turning the knob clockwise, it will
increase the time up to 10 minutes as the
maximum. (Lights may not come on during the
warmup period.)
ADJUSTING THE MOTION SENSOR
DETECTION ZONE
□ Rotate the TIME knob on the bottom of
the sensor to “TEST”.
□ Adjust the SENS knob according to
your need.
□ Turn on the power to the fixture. Allow
the fixture to warm up approximately 15
seconds before testing. (Lights may not
come on during warmup period.)
□ The sensor is more sensitive to
movements across its detection
path rather than the movements
towards it directly.
□ Walk at normal speeds across the
detection area to set the desired
detection distance properly.
□ During Test Mode, the light will come
ON for 5 seconds every time when
movement is detected. Set the Shut-off
Delay Timer only when the light is in the
Auto Mode.

ADJUSTING THE
SENSITIVITY
□ The sensitivity was set at
the maximum by the factory.
By turning the knob
counterclockwise, the
detection distance can be
decreased to the minimum
of 5 ft.
MOTION ACTIVATION (AUTO)
In this mode, the fixture turns ON
with motion only at night (0 to 10
minutes) and turns OFF according
to the TIME setting. Ensure the
power to the fixture is ON.
DUSK-TO-DAWN
In this mode, the fixture turns ON
for 6 hours at dusk and then resets
to the Auto setting. To set this
mode, turn the power OFF and ON
twice within 2 seconds.

Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The light does not come ON with
motion at night.
There is no power to the fixture. Check if the circuit breaker tripped.
Confirm the wall switch is ON.
Surrounding external ambient light is too bright. (If
so, the unit may think it is daytime.)
Re-aim the head.
Relocate or reposition the unit away from the light.
Wiring to the unit is loose. TURN OFF POWER BEFORE CONTINUING. Check wiring;
reconnect if necessary.
