□ Remove the screw and star washer securing the ground
wire terminal to the downrod (B). Remove the wire and set
aside.
□
Loosen (but do not remove) the lock screws securing the
downrod (B) to the mounting collar (O) on the fan assembly (H),
then remove the hitch pin (Q) and the clevis pin (AB) from the
mounting collar (O). Carefully feed the fan’s electrical
wiring up through the threaded end of the downrod (B).
□ Thread the downrod (B) into the motor housing (P) until it bottoms
out, then back it out until the hole in the downrod (B) aligns
with the hole in the motor housing (P). Be careful not to twist
the electrical wiring when tightening.

Install the clevis pin (AB) through the holes in the mounting collar (O)
and the downrod (B), then reinsert hitch pin (Q). Retighten the lock
screws to secure.
