H. M. RICHARDS, INC. CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY
LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty applies to new H. M. RICHARDS upholstered furniture and is extended
only to the customer who makes the original purchase. H. M. RICHARDS warrants the
individual furniture components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for
the length of the time specified below. This warranty does not apply to defects resulting
from negligence, misuse, accidents, or commercial usage. Under the terms of this
limited warranty, H. M. RICHARD’S retains the option to repair or replace the defective
item.
WARRANTY SERVICE
All Claims for service must be accompanied by proof of purchase (bill of sale). Any
claim for service under the warranty must be made through the retail dealer where the
furniture was purchased. This includes ordering replacement parts. H. M. RICHARDS,
will assume responsibility for preauthorized labor cost to repair any defective part for
one (1) year from the date of purchase. After one (1) year labor cost to repair and or
replace parts will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
FRAME WARRANTY
The frame, upholstered in the original fabric under normal use and conditions, is
warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the
product. Labor warranty, see “warranty service”. Prior authorization and approval from
a representative of H. M. RICHARD’S must occur before a frame can be deemed
“defective” in either parts or workmanship.
