6.4 DISMANTLING AND REPLACEMENT
6.4.1 R
EPLACING WHEELS
Stop the machine on a flat surface and put a block
under a load-bearing part of the frame on the side
that the wheel is to be changed.
The wheels are held by a snap ring (1) which can
be eased off with a screwdriver.
The rear wheels are directly coupled to the differen-
tial axle shaft and fastened by a key that forms part
of the wheel's hub.
Should you substitute one or both rear wheels, ensure that
they are of the same diameter, and check that cutting deck is horizontal to pre-
vent an uneven cut.
Before re-fitting a wheel, smear some waterproof grease on
the axle and carefully re-fit the snap ring (1) and washer (2).
6.4.2 R
EPLACING AND REPAIRING TYRES
The tyres are of the «Tubeless» type and therefore all puncture repairs will have
to be carried out by a tyre-repair expert in accordance with the methods for this
kind of tyre.
6.4.3 R
EPLACING BULBS
The bulbs (18W) have a bayonet fitting
and are installed in the bulb holder which
can be taken out by turning it anti-clock-
wise, using pliers.
