Legendary Honda Engines
Most Honda Pumps feature our Honda GX commercial-grade engines. These four-stroke engines have long been
recognized as the industry leader in providing reliable, quiet and fuel-efficient power.
Features include overhead valves for smooth, consistent power, and a cast iron
cylinder sleeve for “commercial-grade” quality and durability. Many offer a
dual element air cleaner that provides a clean supply of air for increased engine
life. Most Honda Pumps are also equipped with Oil Alert
®
that protects the
engine by shutting it down if oil reaches an unacceptable operating level.
Other features on the GX engine include:
