Installing Recovery Manager on Linux Systems

3.3.2 Verifying Installation
To verify 3PAR Recovery Manager installation on a Linux system:
1 Log in as the
root user.
2 Issue the rpm command as follows:
3 After the installation is complete on the primary and backup hosts, you can allow Oracle
users and Database Administrators group access to the Recovery Manager commands and
utilities by changing the owner and permissions of the following directories (required for
Oracle users):
◆ /opt/3par/vcdbaora
◆ /etc/3par/solutions
◆ /etc/3par/solutions/log
◆ /etc/3par/solutions/lock
◆ /etc/3par/solutions/<primary_host>.ora.<oracle_sid>
# rpm -qi VCDBAora
