3. Select the registration task you want to perform. The following list describes each
registration task:
• Register an unmanaged object — This option registers the device as a
managed object with the SRM Server. Upon the successful completion of this
task, the SRM Server knows about and manages scans for the object you
specified.
• Unregister a managed object — This option removes the managed object
from the list of managed objects that the SRM Server knows about and
manages.
4. Authenticate with an SRM Server by doing one of the following:
• Leave the fields blank to use your default login information, or
• Provide appropriate account information to register with an SRM Server in
another domain.
