Security
Grants read access to local users. In a domain, this group includes Domain Users.
Extra Security Settings
To add an extra level of security to your SRM environment, make the following
changes to the default setup:
• System — Required as is for proper operation; do not change.
• Administrators — Required as is for proper operation; do not change.
• SRMAdmin — Required for proper operation. Members of the SRMAdmin local
group on the SRM Server can modify SRM settings.
• CREATOR_OWNER — The defaults are required on the SRM Server directory
for proper operation.
The following groups and user accounts can be added to the access list:
Any Group
RX
Applies to all but the SRM Server directory. Apply RWX on the SRM Server
directory.
Adding these permissions grants any group permission to view SRM Web pages.
Any Group
RWXD
Grants any group privileges equivalent to SRMAdmin group privileges.
Verify File Permissions
After an upgrade, make sure that all files in the Program Files directory have the
correct permissions.
To verify file permissions in the SRM program directory:
1. Recursively apply the permissions listed under Default SRM Directory Settings.
2. Recursively remove any unwanted permissions.
