Installation Prerequisites
— Tru64 UNIX 4.0f, 4.0g, 5.0, 5.0A, 5.1, or 5.1A
— Red Hat Linux 6.2, 7.1, or 7.2 (Intel 32 only)
NOTE: Using any other Linux product or version may yield unpredictable results.
• SRM Server 4.0 or later must be installed on the network and able to manage this
agent.
Required Account Information
Setup prompts you for the required account information. Have it ready before
beginning the installation process to save time during installation.
• Agent listening port number (usually 11125, 11126, or 11127).
• IIS Server name or IP address and port number (default is 80).
• The name or IP address, password, and domain of the SRM Service Login
Account for the SRM Server that will register and monitor this Agent. This is the
account under which the SRM Server runs, and was established during SRM
Server installation.
Required Hardware
• 128-MB memory
• 5-MB free disk space
SRM for OpenVMS Agent
The following checklist includes all requirements for installing an SRM for
OpenVMS Agent on a single OpenVMS system.
Required Software
• OpenVMS 6.2 (with latest PCSI update), 7.2, 7.2-1, or 7.3.
• SRM Server 4.0 or later, installed on the network and able to manage this agent.
Required Hardware
• VAX or Alpha-based processor
• 5-MB free disk space
