Installation Prerequisites
SRM Web Browser Shortcut
The Web Browser shortcut starts the default Web browser and displays SRM’s
Web-based user interface. Use the browser to access the information stored in an SRM
database. Obtain the name of the target SRM Server computer before performing this
installation. Setup prompts you to input this name during installation. The Web
Browser shortcut can be installed on any Intel-compatible PC where you want quick
access to your SRM data.
The following items are required for an SRM Web Browser shortcut installation and
on all browsers used to access SRM:
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 with SP1 or later.
or
Netscape Navigator 4.08 or later.
• Disable any proxy server for local (intranet) server settings.
• Enable Cookie acceptance.
