8. Configure the database from the Notes client:
a. Select File > Database > New.
The New Database window appears.
b. In the Server box, specify the relevant mail server. Enter the name of the server if it does not
appear in the list.
c. In the Title box,enteranameforthedatabase.Forexample,HPEAs-DReference(mnr).
d. In the Filename box, browse to and select the hprim folder, then e nter the database filename.
For example, hp_riss_minerreferenc.nsf .
e. In the Template for New Database area of the window, select the server in the Server box, and
thenselecttheHPEAs-DReferencetemplateinthescrollbox.
f. Click OK and close the database’s About page.
g. Select File > Database > Access Control and adjust the access control settings to make s ure tha t:
Default has no access to the database.
LocalDomainAdmins have Manager access, with delete rights and all roles.
LocalDomainServers have Designer access, with delete rights and all roles.
The ID file that was used to sign the database (if not in LocalDomainAdmins) has
Designer access, with delete acc ess and all roles.
If the customer signs databases and agents with a ser ver ID, ma ke sure the server is
in LocalDomainSer vers.
