The address conversion settings:
• Resolve SMTP aliases.
• Allow for reso
lution of groups from multiple Domino domains.
• Allow configuration of a single additional Domino Director y for resolution of group names.

• If the address conversion sett ings apply to all Domino servers in the
domain, select Use Global Config and configure address c onversion
in the Global Configuration document. See “Address Conversion
Settings (global)”onpage25.
• If the address conversion settings apply onl y to the server(s) listed
in this Server Definition document, select Override — use Server
Definition Config, and then complete the address conversion
settings.

Resolve SMTP aliases of Notes
names
Select the check box to resolve SMTP aliases.
Alias lookup view in Domino
Directory
Leave $Use rs (the default).
DNS domains/hostnames
accepted for SMTP messages
Enter a comma- or newline-separated list of DNS domains and
hostnames for which the mail server will accept SMTP messages.
For example, if there are MX records for mycompany.com and
mycompany.net, and both records point to a server with the hostname
mail, the list should include four entries: mail.mycompany.com,
mail.mycompany.net, mycompany.com, mycompany.net.
