Tombstones, or links in mail files to messages archived on the IAP, can be retrieved in Lotus Notes and

DW A Extension configuration steps

When users open a tombstoned message in DWA, text such as “Click here to retrieve the full message” is

displaye

d. This text is a live URL that submits a retrieval requ est to the IAP. The request is executed by the

EASWEB agent in the HP EAs-D DWA Index database (hp_dwaindex.nsf). The messages that are

retrieved from the IAP are cached for the number of days that you specify .

All mail functionalit y, including re ply and forward, applies for each message retrieved in DWA.

Older tombstoned message tha t were created using earlier versions of EAs Domino are converted

automat

ically when they are opened in DWA.

NOTE:

Retrieved DWA messages are cached in the user’s mail ﬁle for the period of time speciﬁed in the Global

Conﬁguration document. These cached messages are h idden from all standard views provided by the

Lotus Notes Mail templates. If you want to add a custom view to your mail template to display the

cached messages, use the following selection formula: SELECT @IsAvailable(HP_DWA_CACHE_DATE) |
