To configure the tombstone settings:
1. Open the HP EAs-D API database file.
2. Under Mining Rules in the ma in view, open Email M in er DWA Sample.
3. Double-click inside the document to edit the rule.
4. Click the Tombstone Settings tab, and configure the set tings according to the steps in
Tombstone Settings tab”onpage65.
Purging cached messages
TheHPEAs-DDWAIndexdatabase(hp_dwaindex.nsf) contains the software to accept and pro cess
requests to retrieve archived messages from the IAP and return them to the request user’s browser. These
requests are cached in the user’s mail file for the number of days specified in the Global Configuration
document. (See DWA Index Settings on page 26.

messages ar
e deleted from the cache after the configured number of days.
To schedule and enable the agent using the Designer client:
1. Open the HP DWA Index database in the hprim folder.
2. In the Design pa ne, select Shared Code > Agents.
3. Double-c
lick Purge,andthenclickOK to bypass the warning.

4. Make sure the Trigger is set to On schedule, Daily,andtheTargetissettoAll documents in database.
5. Set the schedule, selecting Any server in the Where agent runs box.
6. Click OK.
7. Close the Agent Properties dialog a nd the agent, and then click Enable to enable the agent .
Purging tombstone conversion requests
For DWA users to access messages that were archived using earlier versions of EAs Domino, the
tombstones must be converted to Rich Text format. This conversion is handled automatically by agents
in the HP EAs-D Server Requests database. A purge agent must be scheduled and enabled so that
conversion requests are periodically deleted from the database.
Follow these steps to schedule and enable the agent:
1. In the Designer client, open the HP EAs-D Server Requests database (hp_rissreq.nsf).
2. In the Design pa ne, select Shared Code > Agents.
3. Double-click Purge_Document,andthenclickOK to bypass the warning.
