If you selected one of the tombstoning actions, a tombstone replaces

Lotus Notes. When this setting is chosen, a field to customize the
standard tombstone message is displayed. Change the content
if you do not w
ant to use the default, “This message has been
archived.
If the Notes p
lug-in is installed on client computers, users only see
this message if they are offline or the IAP is down. Otherwise, a
copy of an ar
chived message appears automatically when the
message is opened in the Notes client. (For more information
about the plug-in, see Using the Windows Notes Client
Plug-In on page 1 20.)
When Text is selected, a tombstoned message can be as small
as 800 bytes.
Rich Text: Select this option if users access archived messages with
DW A, or with DWA and Lotus Notes.
A Tombstone Prototype document must be configured before
choosing this setting. The content that is created in the prototype
replaces or appends the message body, depending on the
tombsto
ne action that is specified. The Prototype value is the key of
the Tom
bstone Prototype document to be used. See Configuring
the Tom
bstone Prototype document”onpage51.
When Ri
ch Text is selected, each tombstoned message is a
minimum of 2–3 KB.
