6. In Lookout Span(KB), enter a value to specify the interval for monitoring the number of
messages to be output to the integrated trace file. The default is 0 (seconds). You can
specify a value from 0 to 3600. If you specify 0, you cannot adjust the number of
messages to be output because the system ignores the setting of Max Messages/Span.
7. In Max Messages/Span, enter a value to specify the maximum number of messages to be
output to the integrated trace file at the monitoring interval specified in Lookout
Span(KB).
The default is 0. You can specify a value from 0 to 500.
If you specify 0, you cannot adjust the number of messages to be output.
If you specify 0 for Lookout Span(KB), you cannot adjust the number of messages to be
output because the system ignores the setting of Max Messages/Span.
8. After you finish changing the settings, click the OK button. The dialog box closes.
9. Restart the service of Hitachi Network Objectplaza Trace Library. In Control Panel,
choose Administrative Tools and then Services to open the Services window. In the list
of services, select Hitachi Network Objectplaza Trace Monitor 2. Then, from the
Action menu choose Restart to restart the service.
