1. Failover to the synchronous storage system S347.
If the Remote Copy groups have not been stopped, stop the groups on S256 by issuing the
following:
# stoprcopygroup -f linux_asm11gr2_data
# stoprcopygroup -f linux_asm11gr2_arch
# stoprcopygroup -f linux_asm11gr2_redo
The failover operation changes the role of the secondary groups on the remote synchronous
storage system from Secondary to Primary-Rev. Any LUNs associated with the volumes
in the Remote Copy group become writable by hosts (in this example, panther) connected
to the remote storage system S347.
Prior to the failover operation, the output from the showrcopy command issued on S347
displays the following:
