SYMBOLIC NAME
RMO_ERROR_DM_SCANORDER
MESSAGE
3PAR1225: ERROR: The ORACLEASM_SCANORDER from <file> does not include <entity>.
REASON
In Linux, during Virtual Copy mount process, Recovery Manager for Oracle discovered that asmlib
is used from the database server and on the backup server with the multipath daemon running.
Recovery Manager for Oracle will look for devices with device mapper multipath configured and
used from the backup server. In this case, the ORACLEASM_SCANORDER parameter in
/etc/sysconfig/oracleasm should contain the value dm to instruct oracleasm to scan device
mapper devices.
SOLUTION
Reconfigure oracleasm to contain dm for ORACLEASM_SCANORDER. Restart oracleasm to put
the changes in effect.

REASON
During mount or unmount process, if ASM is used to manage Oracle database devices, the CSS
daemon should be configured correctly and running on the backup server.
SOLUTION
Follow Oracle documentation to start the CSS daemon process on the backup server.
