This release notes discusses the product information for RMH (HP 3PAR Recovery Manager 2.0 Software
for Microsoft Hyper-V).
Overview
RMH offers key management capabilities and facilitates the integration of 3PAR Virtual Copy and
Microsoft Hyper-V Virtual Machine environment.
RMH is designed to work with Microsoft Hyper-V servers and provides system administrators with
important tools to manage and backup critical Virtual Machines involving multiple virtualized machine
environments. This application provides essential GUI and command line-based tools to create, manage,
browse, and restore application consistent 3PAR Virtual Copies for operating Hyper-V Virtual Machines
to a point-in-time.
What’s new
HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage certificate enables management of SSL certificate, and enforces certificate
validation by the host and client applications to establish a secure connection.
HP 3PAR CLI and HP 3PAR Inform OS versions 3.1.1 MU3 P27, 3.1.2 MU3 P16, or later, supports
a self-signed 2048-bit RSA SSL certificate for HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage.

command for the existing StoreServs to accept and save the certificate

This separates out repository path from install path. It allows users to
back up or schedule the repository. It helps to recover the RMH Server
and Agents.
RMHyper-V Repository Backup
RMH supports Remote Copy in Synchronous and Periodic
Asynchronous modes both for multi-mode and multi-target data
replication.

OS 3.1.2 or later.

The current release of RMH is not localized, however it supports
installation on Windows server with English, Japanese, and Chinese
(Simplified) locale with object names operations in English only.
