NOTE: After the first successful backup, HP 3PAR Recovery Manager saves the information
entered in the Parameters area and displays it as the default when you create a backup next
time.
6. To automatically remove the newly created virtual copy after backup, select the Remove Virtual
Copy after backup checkbox.
7. Select whether you want HP 3PAR Recovery Manager to defer truncation of the Exchange log
after backup.
8. To immediately create one backup, click Finish.
HP 3PAR Recovery Manager creates the backup, names it as its timestamp, and adds it
to the Backup Management node under the relevant mailbox database/storage group
in the node tree pane if:
You are using an expiration-based policy, or
You are using a numeric-based policy but either have not reached the maximum
number of virtual copies allowed or the policy is configured to remove old copies
as necessary (that is, the Remove the oldest Virtual Copies checkbox isselected).
HP 3PAR Recovery Manager does not create the backup if you are using a numeric-based
policy and:
The policy is not configured to remove the oldest virtual copies (that is, the Remove
the oldest Virtual Copies checkbox is not selected), and
You have reached the maximum number of virtual copies allowed and therefore HP
3PAR Recovery Manager cannot create a new virtual copy.
