These release notes describe the modifications and known issues for Patch 08 (P08). The application of this patch is intended for HP 3PAR InForm OS 3.1.1.226. HP 3PAR InForm OS 3.1.1 includes a new defragmentation feature for Thinly Provisioned Virtual Volumes (TPVVs). This feature enhances space reclamation capability of the array, offering incremental space savings, in some cases. HP has corrected an issue with the new defragmentation feature in HP 3PAR InForm OS 3.1.
