Release 2.2.4 MU6 Release Notes InForm OS Version 2.2.4
41995 Incorrectly zoned RCFC
configuration results in
memory exhaustion
and controller node
restart.
Under certain error conditions, the Remote Copy over Fibre
Channel transport software was not releasing 8KB memory
blocks causing the controller node to go offline when it ran
out of available memory.
42548 3PAR FC adapter
firmware does not
correctly abort
commands issued to NL
drives.
A defect in the initiator mode firmware of the 3PAR FC
Adapter could cause an incorrectly formatted abort frame
to be sent to the NL drive, if that drive did not return read
data within the specified timeout period. This could result
in data inconsistency when the incorrectly formatted abort
frame was filtered and did not reach the drive to correctly
invoke the read abort.
This firmware defect is fully corrected in 3PAR FC044X
firmware version 1.31.A.8.
42968 Controller node
shutdown due to stack
corruption.
When a stack variable update was performed on a process
before being put on the run queue, a stack corruption could
occur.
The stack variable update is now performed before putting
the process onto the run queue.
43030 iSCSI hosts fail
authentication after
InServ is rebooted.
When an InServ is rebooted with iSCSI hosts that are logged
in with CHAP authentication enabled, the iSCSI hosts could
get an authentication error when trying to log back in.
This issue has been corrected.
