3 Evaluated Configuration
This section provides information on the HP 3PAR Storage System Common Criteria
evaluated configuration.
Hardware and Software
The HP 3PAR Storage System evaluated for conformance to the CC standard consists of
the following:
HP 3PAR InServ Storage Systems models listed below, each running InForm OS
(version 3.1.1 MU1+P16):
HP 3PAR InServ T-Class Storage System models T400 and T800
HP 3PAR InServ F-Class Storage System models F200 and F400
HP 3PAR InServ P10000-Class Storage System models V400 and V800 (the
P10000-Class was previously known as V-Class)
3PAR CLI client (version 3.1.1 MU1)
InForm Management Console (version 4.2.1)
There are software components that can be individually licensed for use with an HP 3PAR
Storage System. All of the optional features of the InForm OS can be used with the CC
evaluated configuration with the exception of Remote Copy, which was excluded.
Physical protection
There are some assumptions made regarding the physical protection given to the HP 3PAR
Storage System CC evaluated configuration in the customer environment:
It must be physically situated in an access-controlled environment to protect against
any unwarranted access or physical connections to system network ports.
The same physical protection afforded the HP 3PAR Storage System should be
extended to all components that interact with the appliance (e.g., external servers such
as NTP and LDAP, remote clients, etc.) to also protect against malicious activity.
The management network is assumed to be private and have restricted access to only
those hosts and administrators that need to configure or monitor the HP 3PAR Storage
System (which includes NTP and LDAP servers, client hosts, etc.).
