3.1 Overview
A user account is required to access an InServ Storage Server. The first user account must be set
up on the node itself. User accounts are created by the system administrator and each user is
assigned a user class permitting varying levels of accessibility within the system (refer to the
InForm OS CLI Administrator’s Manual for instructions on creating users and assigning system
accessibility).
There are three types of users:
■ Local users.
■ Domain users.
■ LDAP users.
