Solution: On a restarted migration, if an OIU:showmigration command shows FAILED status
unexpectedly, wait 1–2 minutes and issue the OIU:showmigration command again. You should
see the proper IMPORTING status. If the status continues to remain at FAILED, the migration has
failed.

Problem: Unable to add 3PAR peer port host to source storage system group.
Solution: Check the OIU log file for specific description of the problem from SMI-S Provider.

Problem: Tried to execute OIU:removemigration while the specified migration is still in progress.
Solution: Wait for migration to complete before removing.

Problem: Tried to execute OIU:removesource with specific UID and that UID does not exist in OIU database.
Solution: Execute OIU:showsource to determine storage systems that are currently known.
OIUERRSRC0023 = "You have selected a migration with an unsupported storage group
configuration."
OIURSLSRC0023 = "Verify that your storage group configuration matched one of the
supported configurations."
Problem: LUN associated with createmigration that was executed is not in a supported storage group configuration.
Solution: Review supported storage group configurations in section “Supported and Unsupported Migrations by HP
3PAR Online Import Utility for EMC Storage” (page 17) and make appropriate changes before creating the migration.

Problem: The SMI-S Provider that was entered is running an unsupported version.
Solution: Storage systems for migration must be managed by SMI-S Provider with supported version.
