dismisspd
DESCRIPTION
The dismisspd command removes Physical Disk (PD) definitions from system use.
SYNTAX
dismisspd <PD_ID>...
AUTHORITY
• Super, Service
• Any role that is granted the pd_dismiss right.
NOTE: You need access to all domains in order to run this command.
OPTIONS
None
SPECIFIERS
<PD_ID>...
Specifies the PD(s), identified by integers, to be removed from system use.
RESTRICTIONS
• Access to all domains is required to run this command.
• A PD that is in use cannot be removed.
EXAMPLES
The following example removes a physical disk with ID 1:
cli% dismisspd 1
NOTES
Verify the removal of a physical disk by issuing the showpd command. See “showpd” (page 411)
for more information.
