startcim
DESCRIPTION
The startcim command starts the CIM server to service CIM requests. By default, the CIM server
is not started until this command is issued.
SYNTAX
startcim
AUTHORITY
• Super, Service
• Any role granted the cim_start right.
NOTE: You need access to all domains in order to run this command.
OPTIONS
None
SPECIFIERS
None
RESTRICTIONS
Access to all domains is required to run this command.
EXAMPLES
The following example starts the CIM server:
cli% startcim
CIM server will start in about 90 seconds.
NOTES
• By default, the CIM server is not started until this command is issued.
• Use stopcim to stop the CIM server.
