What's new with HP 3PAR CIM API
• SMI-S 1.5 certified.
• Provider response will always have HTTP chunking enabled. Previously a provider response
will be HTTP-chunked only if the client specifies “chunked” or “trailers” in the HTTP transfer
encoding header field of the request.
• Only HTTP 1.1 or later client is supported. Request from HTTP 1.0 client will be rejected.
• Replication Services
Added support for the following extrinsic methods in ReplicationService class:◦
– GetPeerSystems
– CreateListReplica
– CreateGroupReplicaFromElements
– GetReplicationRelationshipInstances
◦ Added ConsistentPointInTime property to TPD_RemoteReplicationGroup and
TPD_ReplicationGroup.
◦ Added TPD_RemoteReplicationCollection and its association classes
TPD_MemberOfRemoteReplicationCollection, TPD_ReplicationAffectsRemoteCollection,
and TPD_HostedRemoteReplicationCollection.
• Disk Drive Lite
Added support for new properties LocationIndicator, Encryption, FormFactor in
TPD_DiskDrive class.

TPD_DiskStorageExtent classes.
◦ Added TPD_AssociatedPrimordialDisks association between DiskStorageExtents and the
Primordial StoragePool.
