HP 3PAR SmartStart 1.1 Release Notes (QR482-96033, December 2012)

1.3.4 Multiple Users Using SmartStart for the Same Task at the Same Time Can Cause
Task Failure (Bug 80460)
SmartStart might not be able to scan new disks or complete some host configuration steps if multiple
users are using SmartStart to configure the same host or add virtual volumes to Windows at the same
time.
Workarounds:
Only use one instance of SmartStart at a time to connect to a host.
Delete the temporary directory on the host you are configuring (c:\Users\Public\
tmpSmartStart.<user name>.<hostname or domain>) and try the task again.
1.3.5 Cannot Browse to Nested Mount Points when Adding Virtual Volumes to Windows
(Bug 80542)
When you use mount points to add virtual volumes to Windows, the Browse dialog does not allow
you to open the empty folder. Therefore, you cannot select folders within the empty mount point folder.
In other words, the Browse dialog does not allow you to select the third level of an empty folder to
mount if both the following are true:
The first level is an assigned drive (for example, A:\).
The second level is a mounted empty folder (for example, A:\VirtualVolumes).
Workaround:
Manually enter the file path in the Mount this empty NTFS folder text field.
