8. Enter the following information and then click OK:
• System Name: The system name or the IP address.
• User Name: HP 3PAR user ID.
For more information on determining the user name, see the HP 3PAR InForm OS
Command Line Interface Reference.
• Password: The password associated with the specified user name.
• Use SSL for StoreServ CLI Connection: Select this option to use SSL for socket connections
to the system.
HP 3PAR VSS installer displays a message providing details about the server certificate. Either
accept or reject the certificate.
NOTE: The installation continues only if the certificate is accepted.

• If the certificate is already saved for current StoreServ user using HP 3PAR CLI (outside
HP 3PAR VSS Provider)
