The Windows logical volume must be configured as Basic Disk and located on the HP 3PAR
Storage System.

New Features and Enhancements
Support for Remote Copy Synchronous mode Replication.
Enables support for creating application consistent snapshots (Virtual Copies) both on the source
HP 3PAR Storage System and target HP 3PAR Storage System when the data between the storage
systems are replicated using Remote Copy in Synchronous mode.
Support for new features in InForm OS 3.1.1 release.
VSS Provider leverages the InForm OS 3.1.1 capabilities to optimize application consistent
snapshot creation by removing the additional layer of I/O blocking.
The volume listing and the process of obtaining the volume parameters are optimized.
Support for the 3PAR_RM user role. The 3PAR _RM role provides the ability to limit the
operations that a user can perform. For all the capabilities that the user can perform when
assigned to the 3PAR_RM role, refer the HP 3PAR InForm OS CLI Administrator’s Guide.
