Initiating advertisement of PoE+ TLVs
Syntax
lldp config <port-list> dot3TlvEnable poeplus_config
Enables advertisement of data link layer power using PoE+ TLVs.The TLV is processed
only after the physical layer and the data link layer are enabled. The TLV informs
the PSE about the actual power required by the device.
Default: Enabled
NOTE: If LLDP is disabled at runtime, and a PD is using PoE+ power that has been
negotiated through LLDP, there is a temporary power drop; the port begins using
PoE+ power through the PLC. This event is recorded in the Event Log.
Example 69 Event log messages
