Troubleshooting
After you install a power supply, check the power LEDs on the front panel to
verify normal operation (as described in
“Verifying a Power Supply
Installation” on page 6).
If the LEDs do not indicate normal operation, follow the steps in this section
to diagnose the problem.
Problem Solution
Power supply is not connected
to an active AC power source.
Verify the power cord for each installed power supply
is plugged into an active power source and to a power
supply.
Make sure that each connection is snugly plugged
in—unplug and re-plug the power cord back into each
power supply.
Verify the AC power source by plugging another
device into the outlet.
Plug the power supply cord into a different outlet.
Replace the power cord.
Power supply is not properly Remove and reinstall the power supply.
