Description

Fabric OS 5.3.0d is a patch release that contains ﬁxes since the release of Fabric OS 5.3.0c. There is no

new device s

upport added with this release for HP StorageWorks platforms.

Update recommendations

HP strongly recommends that users upgrade to Fabric OS 5.3.0d as soon as possible, particularly if

your model is the Brocade 4Gb SAN Switch for HP c-Class BladeSystem (Brocade 4024) and you are

running a version older than 5.3.0 b.

Consider the following before upgrading:

• If upgrading from Fabric OS 5.1.x, install Fabric OS 5.3.0d before installing the latest port and

intelligent blades in the 4/256 Dire ctor.

• If upgrading from Fabric OS 5.1.x with switches running 2.6.x in the fabric, upgrading to 5.3.0d

is not s upported unless 2.6.x switches are separated by a Router.
