snapshots

pre-allocation
of disk
space.
Standard
snapshot
Creates a
clone of
the source
volume.
Snapclone
(default)
Select the redundancy level to be used for the target volumes. If you create
vsnaps and standard snapshots, the selected redundancy level should be

of the same or lower quality than the one used for the source volumes.
Otherwise, the same redundancy level as used for the source volumes is
applied. The redundancy level is checked for each source volume
separately.
The quality of redundancy levels decreases as listed below.

replica creation and remount it afterwards. Additionally, when raw devices

disk image backup, selecting this option will dismount and then remount
any filesystems on these objects.
If integrated applications (for example, Oracle) run on the filesystem, they
control data consistency on disk, so it is not necessary to dismount
filesystems before the replica creation.
