disks are switched with the source volume
disks. The old source volumes are retained.
With the Retain source for forensics option
not selected, the source volumes are
overwritten during the copy process. Even if
the instant recovery fails, you may lose the
data in the source volumes.
After restore, the replica is not deleted from the
replica set or the SMISDB and is still available
for another instant recovery session until the
replica is deleted from the replica set rotation
during backups.
This method takes about as much time as the
whole creation of this replica did, but maintains
the redundancy level and the original EVA disk
group. Default: selected

assigned to the snapclones and they are
presented in the place of the source volumes.
Once restored, the session is not available for
another instant recovery session and the
information about the replica is deleted from
SMISDB.
This method is much faster than the copy replica
data process, but note that after restore, the new
source volumes can have redundancy level of
lower quality and can be located in a different
EVA disk group.
