from the replica to the restore location. Since this process may impact
the application system performance, you can wait for the copy to
complete before session continues. You can influence the control of
the process by omnirc variables. See EVA specific
variables on page 107.
The restored data is available for use after the time specified in Wait
up to n minutes (default: 60) is reached (even if the copy process is
not finished), or after the copy process has finished if it is finished
before the specified time.

during the switch process. For example, select this option to
investigate why the original data got corrupted or to preserve the
original data in case instant recovery fails.
If this option is not selected and the copy–back process is used for
restore, the replaced source volumes will try to be reused as storage
containers. The prerequisites for that are that the source and target
volumes match in size, redundancy level, and belong to the same
EVA disk group.
NOTE:
If you do not select Retain source for forensics and select Copy
replica to the source location, and then instant recovery session
fails, the original data in the source volumes to be restored will
be lost.
Default: selected.
If this option is selected, Application Recovery Manager checks
whether the source volumes to be restored are mounted to the same
mount points as during backup. If the mount points have changed,
the instant recovery session fails.
