For SAP R/3 integration, the option is not applicable
(mount points created are always the same as on the
application system.
If the mount points are in use (for example, a previous
session may be mounted) and this option is selected,

filesystems at destination mount
points Application Recovery Manager will try to dismount the
mounted filesystems. If the option is not selected and the
mount points are in use, or if the option is selected and
the dismounting fails, the session will fail.
Default: not selected.
By default, Application Recovery Manager dismounts
filesystems (all platforms) and exports volume groups
(HP-UX) on the backup system after each backup.
Leave the backup system
enabled
If this option is not selected, Application Recovery
Manager dismounts filesystems, exports volume groups
(HP-UX), and unpresents the target volumes on the backup
system after each backup.
If this option is selected, the filesystems remain mounted,
the volume groups remain imported and active (HP-UX),
and the target volumes remain presented. In such an
environment, you can use the backup system for data
warehouse activities and for backup to tape with third-party
backup software.
