Policy Monitor overview

Use this feature is to provide best practice guidelines for network setup at the fabric, switch, port

and device level as well as software configurations at the Fabric OS, Network OS and the

Management application level.

Configuring policy monitors enables you to perform the following:

• Provide selectable and configurable built-in rules to check for best practices

• Schedule policies to run periodically

• Run a policy manually (on demand)

• Generate a report that will detail any issues found by the policy
