Procedure
1. On the toolbar, select Tools > Configure.
The Configuration window opens.
2. In the Configuration navigation pane, select the item to configure.
CLUI ports configuration
You can configure the ports that are used by CLUI clients to access the CLUI server.
Default:
Unsecure port: enabled, port 9000, 10 simultaneous sessions
Secure SSL port: enabled, port 9001, 10 simultaneous sessions
HP recommends that you not change a default port number unless it conflicts with other
applications on the management server.
To allow unlimited simultaneous sessions, enter 0 in the Maximum Sessions box.

HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager database configuration
You can configure the port that the replication manager server uses to access its internal database.
Database port
Default: port 1315.
HP recommends that you not change the default port number unless it conflicts with other
applications on the management server.
RSM database cleanup
You can remove records of unavailable storage resources from the database by using the cleanup
feature.
Over time, the database can accumulate records of resources on storage systems that the
replication manager can no longer communicate with.
HP recommends exporting a copy of the database (as backup) before performing a cleanup.

Internet protocol configurations
HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager is designed for use with internet protocol versions as
follows:
HP Replication Solutions Manager versions 4.0.1 or later—IPv4, IPv6, and mixed IPv4/IPv6
networks
HP Replication Solutions Manager versions 1.0 through 4.0—IPv4 networks only
IP address formats
IP addresses in IPv6 have a different format than IPv4.
IPv6 IP addresses are generally shown in eight groups of four hexadecimal digits, separated
by colons, for example: 2001:0db8:85a3:08d3:1319:8a2e:0370:7334.
IPv4 IP address are generally shown in decimal notation, separated by dots (periods), for
example: 192.0.2.235.
