Notes
With the introduction of 3.1.2 Inform OS, user can configure both synchronous replication mode
remote copy volume groups and periodic replication mode remote copy volume groups between
the same pair of HP 3PAR arrays. This can be done by creating multiple targets in the HP 3PAR
arrays. This configuration is not supported by CLX. In CLX configuration, user needs to configure
either synchronous replication mode or the periodic replication mode between the same pair of
HP 3PAR arrays.

HP 3PAR Cluster Extension Software for Windows leverages the Windows Clustering solutions
and HP 3PAR storage system based HP 3PAR Remote Copy solution to provide high availability
and automatic disaster recovery. All the prerequisites specific to these dependencies also apply
