Synopsis
The EVAInfo [options] [raw_device_file] command identifies the LUNs presented to a
server or host from an HP EVA, and displays information about the connected port and controller.
The command output also indicates if the device path is active and optimized for I/O for the LUN.
The active and optimized path information is supported for HP EVA4000/6000/8000,
EVA4100/6100/8100, EVA4400/6400/8400, P6300/P6500 EVAs, and P6350/P6550 EVAs.
The command is run as root or as a user with root privileges.
IMPORTANT: The command output is displayed in horizontal format, one LUN per line, and is
best viewed in a window with a width of at least 80 columns. HP recommends that you use a
window with a width of at least 132 columns; however, the optional long format contains more
details and is best viewed in an even wider window.
