Data verification service stops and tests show blank results
Symptom: The data verification service stops while a test is running and then all the test runs show
blank results.
Workaround: Restart the CVTL service from services.msc.
Found in version: 3.7.00
Coexistence of LTT and CVTL issue
Symptom: When CVTL and LTT are launched together on the same browser, CVTL launches with an
error.
Workaround: Use separate browsers for CVTL and LTT applications to avoid flex related issues.

Launch CVTL and navigate to Administration page
Symptom: The Web server port and Email size limit fields on the Administration tab are displayed as
-1.
Workaround 1:
1. Select Start Menu+Run. Enter Services.msc and click OK.
2. Stop the HP Library and Tape Tools WebGUI service.
3. Stop the Command View TL service.
4. Start the Command View TL service.
5. Start the HP Library and Tape Tools WebGUI service.
Workaround 2:
1. Uninstall Command View TL 3.6.00.
2. Uninstall the Library and Tape Tools WebGUI 5.0.
3. Install Command View TL 3.6.00.
4. Install the Library and Tape Tools WebGUI 5.0.

Installing Command View TL shows “PORT# 5450 is in use by another application”
message
Symptom: During the installation, the following message is displayed:
PORT# 5450 is in use by another application.
Installation will abort.
Please ensure PORT# 5450 is free and retry the installation.
Workaround: Ensure the PORT# 5450 is free and try re-installing Command View TL.
• If the PORT# 5450 is blocked by your firewall, configure the firewall to allow communications
through PORT# 5450.
• If the PORT# 5450 is used by another application, free it from the other application or install
Command View TL on a different server.

“Unable to launch <Newly selected Command View TL destination
folder>\bin\wrapper.exe.” error is received
Symptom: During the 3.5.00 upgrade, the error message “Unable to launch <Newly selected Command
View TL destination folder>\bin\wrapper.exe.” is displayed in a dialog box.
